Exciting new customer

Assembly and Controls Technology have recently been awarded a contract to carry out the storage and logistic service for Contactum's large range of service boxes and 10 way split consumer units, along with assembling switchgear and various types of panel boards.

Contactum, based in Cricklewood, London, began life in 1936 and is one of only a few remaining UK manufacturers of electrical wiring accessories and circuit protection products.

Today, based in extended premises at the very same site as we started in, we are proud to be continuing with the British design, engineering and manufacture that have gained Contactum a loyal customer following and a reputation for robust and reliable products. We continue to grow as part of the Afanar group, a $2.5 billion Saudi Arabian group of companies operating within global electrical and construction industries.

In addition to the extensive ranges of ex-stock products, Contactum offers a Specials service for the design and engineering of customised products. A  Factory Built Assemblies (FBA) service is provided to configure and pre-assemble panel boards and switchboards to your requirements - reducing installation time and removing all the challenges of on-site configuration.
